Hive Expansion is Still Rolling to the Top : Hive Orientation OCD Onboarding Program

Hi everyone, this blog is already overdue in my draft area, but let me share this update with you regarding our Hive Onboarding works here in the Philippines.

Our mission to spread the good news of Hive Blockchain in the Philippines is still running across the nation. Leveraging the internet and other social media platforms, we still successfully attract curious individuals and conduct an orientation discussing the good news of the Hive Blockchain.

Last September 2, 2025. We resume our Hive online Orientation using the messenger platform, and we successfully educated nine individuals from Cebu Island about the community we have. Our participants are mostly students who have a passion for writing and publications. A lot of the students are part of the School Publication Organizations, which are open in the field of writing and expressing thoughts.

I was really amazed by the reason why they want to join Hive, given that theirs a reward, they are looking forward to the skills improvement in writing and storytelling. I feel their enthusiasm to level up their communication and socializing skills that align with their passion and hobbies in life.

This group of students was introduced to me by one member of the Cebu Hive Community. They are asking if we can conduct a Hive orientation for their friends. Of course, those requests are butterflies to my ears. We've been doing marketing and spreading the Hive through other social media platforms, and having this request is a pleasure for us.

After a small briefing, I set a schedule for a formal online orientation. It was conducted last September 2, 2025, at 7:30 pm. The content of the orientation was as follows:

• Basics of Hive Blockchain
• Navigating PeakD
• Do's and Don'ts
• Introduction Blog Creation

Basics of Hive Blockchain

In the basics of Hive Blockchain. We show them what this platform is all about, how it became a web3, blockchain, decentralized platform, and how it differs from the other social media platforms they are using nowadays.

We introduced to them the different front-ends they will explore inside the Hive. From the games, NFT'S and socials they will use like PeakD, Leofinance, Hiveblog, 3Speak, and others. We also educate them on how to navigate and use those front-ends.

Navigating PeakD Platform

PeakD is one of the social networks inside Hive that is newbie-friendly and easy to navigate. Its interface is like the Web 2 social platform we use nowadays. I navigate them from the feeds, communities, and their rules, Snaps, and how to create a blog in PeakD. I also discuss the notification, how to engage, and interact with other bloggers. I also discuss the reward system of the blog and the wallet interface.

Do's and Don'ts

After the discussion of the Hive Platform, one thing I want them to take note of very importantly is the Dos and Don'ts in the Platform, such as plagiarism, Identity Theft, AI Content, Spamming, and also the importance of engagement and genuine interaction with other bloggers. The importance of community and minding the rules of each group.

We also assisted everyone in creating their Intro Blog; we provided them with some formatting techniques and the most common topics they should include in their Intro Blog. At this time on this batch, Im really happy how everyone is growing on the platform. Some of them are making it slow, but I'm glad that they have sme improvements and listened to the guidance we feed to them.

The orientation ended with an interactive Question and Answer. I love how they are eager to learn deep down about the Hive Platform.
