Because gold had a 5000 year time horizon as a commodity used in multiple nations. It is used in computer chips, used for a store of values in banks, used on medicine, it's good jewelry as well, you can melt it and reuse it again.
It's one of the best commodities the markets have and will continue to set.
I'm gonna lend gold. I'm gonna own more shares in the mining market as well
I'm also gonna trade silver since it has been used for smaller transactions.
