WIP: Llavero de Clutch || Keychain eagle US

Ya empezó el Mundial y quise diseñar a las 3 mascotas. Esta vez serán tamaño llavero, aunque también pueden ser como muñecos pequeños... Ya lo verás. Estoy comenzando con Clutch, el águila calva muy conocido de Estados Unidos de Norte América.

The World Cup has already started, so I decided to design the three mascots. This time, they're keychain sized, although they can also look like little toys. You'll see. I'm starting with the bald eagle, a famous bird in the United States.

Cuando empiezo a diseñar la cabeza de un muñeco, estoy entre comenzar con un anillo mágico de 6 ó 7 puntos bajos. Esto dependerá del personaje y las características que quiero plasmar. También veo el tamaño de los ojos que llevará, o si serán bordados.

When I begin designing a doll's head, I'm torn between starting with a magic ring of 6 or 7 single crochets. This will depend on the character and the features I want to capture. I also consider the size of the eyes and whether they will be embroidered.

Mientras formaba la cabeza del águila, por un momento parecía un pulpo o medusa bebé, jaja. Cuando pasa esto, toca resaltar más las características del personaje, como el pico y las alas. Sé que el bordado del rostro será de gran ayuda.

While I was shaping the eagle's head, for a moment it looked like a baby octopus or jellyfish, jaja. When this happens, it’s time to really highlight the character’s features, such as the beak and the wings. I know that the facial embroidery will be a big help.

Esta versión será un llavero o mini muñeco. Por eso, estoy diseñandole una gran base para que se pare. Justo aquí viene el azul... es uno de mis colores favoritos. Y me alegra que este águila lo lleve como uniforme de fútbol.

This version //will be a crocheted keychain or mini toy. That's why I'm designing a sturdy base for it to stand on. Here comes the blue... it's one of my favorite colors. And I'm glad this eagle is wearing it as a soccer uniform.

Las mini zapatillas en camino. Cuando se tratan de piezas pequeñas, la posición y el número de puntos de cada color son importantes. Aquí estoy usando solo lo necesario para no saturar la pieza y así resaltar el diseño de la zapatilla. Espero lograr plasmar lo que tengo en mente. Si es así, en estos días estaré subiendo el video tutorial y comenzaré con Canadá.

The mini running shoes are on their way. When working with small pieces, the placement and number of stitches for each color are important. Here, I'm using only what's necessary so as not to overwhelm the design and to highlight the shoe's design. I'm using the lilac color because I don't think I have the neon lilac. I hope I can bring my vision to life. If so, I'll be uploading the video tutorial in the next few days and will start with Canada.
