Something I wrote today. Thought you might enjoy it, dunno if you can call it Poetry Slam

Thoughts persecution, ideas exclusion
The plague in our mind, some opinions are crimes
Our eternal demise, our success and our pride
They're all intertwined, when we're too stubborn we die

The lack of remorse, the shaming and force
The authoritarian regime, is here so it seems
Those pointless virtues, that meaningless praise
Those irrational goals, they border disgrace

Polarised camps, them versus us
Opposite protests and killings by bus
Private militias, ideological violence
Annihilate the enemy, or at least make them silent

Opinions are facts, and facts are opinions
Fakenews is legitimate so is alternative media
God is dead, and so's everything else
We're already buried just under ourselves
