Lost in Wonder: Exploring the Secrets of Dalaguete's Enchanted Mountain Resort

This unexpected escapade heals my inner child syndrome. Wanna know why? This place is like a whimsical wonderland that comes out straight in a fairy tale book to let us experience in real world. It literally made us feel young again.

Enchanted Mountain Resort is in Barangay Lumbang Dalaguete Southern Cebu. The original plan is just a simple road trip to Dalaguete, Cebu and it turns out our wheels brought us into this magical hidden paradise.

Once you enter the resort, you will be greeted by Enchanted Mountain’s Castle, which stores their restaurant, reception area and on the 2nd, floor are the castle’s room and an awesome roof deck.

From the entrance, we wandered around and snapped some pictures of its fairy tale themed rooms.

This place is a hidden gem where everything around you looks colorful, playful, big and grand and at the same time a relaxing place. Those theme rooms makes the place even more magical and they even have a peculiar designs of cottages that makes the whole area fun and exciting especially for families.

What I love in this place is it's cool mountain air and scenic view, while the green hills and clouds adds a calm vibe.

They also have a swimming pool area with definitely a lot of slides.

Yet, one of the most thrilling and memorable experiences in this resort is crossing their hanging bridge. It literally gives us a mix of excitement and adrenaline rush. The bridge gently sways with every step, adding a touch of adventure especially for people like me who have a fear of heights. As you walk across, you’re rewarded with panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and the peaceful highland landscape, making the slight fear worth it.

How To Get there?

If you’re from Cebu City, go to the South bus terminal and ride a bus going to Dalaguete or Oslob. Tell the conductor to drop you off at the town. Then, you can ride a habal-habal or tricycle. Just tell the driver you’re going to Enchanted Mountain. The ride may take around 30 minutes.

This whole escapade is a nostalgia of my childhood memories. It reminds me of how I once pictured the world with my innocent eyes such as appreciating small things. It lets you realize you don’t just remember your childhood, you feel it all over again, as if it never really left you.

What makes this place special from all the places that I've been, is how it mixes with nature, fun and adventure, a chance to relax and a bit of magic all in one trip.
