Breathing training to lower cortisol levels

This is a “Relaxator”, a little plastic device that with a simple technique forces the body to breath in through the nose and out through the mouth slowly, with an adjustable resistance. This is supposed to make breathing slow and rhythmic. By breathing this way you deactivate your sympathetic nervous system that is on when you are stressed, and activate your parasympathetic nervous system that puts the body in a relaxed state. Pretty cool for something that looks like a pacifier!

The breathing training is a complement to my cortisol lowering supplements but also a part of a longterm approach to stress that I will continue to develop. Follow-up cortisol test in 2 months!
