A Surprising Journey to the Mountain That Took My Breath Away
Last Saturday, I got the time to join my husband's Brotherhood Organization for a tree planting located in Purok 1 Can-Ayan Malaybalay City Philippines.
Malaybalay City is the Highland Capital of Bukidnon province, Bukidnon province is also known of it's cool climate, scenic landscapes and pine-filled sorroundings.
In the past, my husband would always invite me to come with him whenever they had an event for their Brotherhood, but I never had the time. However, since I joined Hive, I was already excited to join him so I would have something to share here.
So went on our way for about 7:30am still early and also it was very cold on the way, I thought it would be just a usual event that I would post in another community, but I never imagined that, while on our way, the view could be this beautiful. Pictures could not justify what I saw with my own eyes.
While on our way riding our motorcycle, I already noticed the mountain view from afar, and I thought I should probably get my phone out because I believed the view up close would be even better.
We passed by houses beside the road at the foot of the mountain. It must be truly refreshing to live here and wake up in the morning with this majestic view.
And I was never wrong. As we kept getting nearer, the view of the mountain kept revealing itself, and I was in awe.
I didn't know with just 15 minutes of drive from our house and the city I could already see a view like this just beside the road, some would hike for hours from their place just to see this kind of view.
As we kept getting closer to the place where the tree planting would be held, the view became even more visible, and I never thought the mountain I had recently been seeing from afar was just in front of the place where the tree planting was held.
So I took the opportunity to take a lot of pictures and pose for them.
I also learned that this mountain is called Mount Kaya-amazing, because in English it means “Able.”
We started the tree planting, and after about an hour, we finished and then bonded for a long time afterward, I made new friends and the owner of the place said that we are always very welcome to come back again anytime or spend our weekend to relax here, as we are a family and part of the Brotherhood.
That's all for today's view. Thank you for dropping by ❤️
Note: Pictures are captured in my Realme6 Android Phone and some were edited in Canva to add a bit of style.
