A Quick Stop at Pickup Coffee and Jeffluff beside the road on a Gloomy Salary Day

It was salary day and the weather was gloomy. I went to the ATM to withdraw some money. After that, I decided to walk a little toward a coffee shop that is just 5 minutes away from home.

This coffee stall is located beside the road in the city. It’s called Pickup Coffee because literally, there are no tables or chairs where you can sit and enjoy your coffee after ordering. This coffee shop is designed for people who just want to pick up their coffee and drink it somewhere else-you just pick it up and walk away after ordering.

I ordered the caramel macchiato since I wanted to try it, as it looked the most appealing to me. I planned to order their pastry too, but it was pretty expensive for me,-already more than a dollar-while I could buy something similar for just a few cents at a bakery.

Beside the Pickup Coffee stall, there is also the Jeffluff stall where they sell a yen coin version of a cheesy bun. My kid always loves this and keeps insisting we should buy it. It’s his favorite because he enjoys its elastic mozzarella and cheesy ingredients. So, I went to order one of those too, along with a lemon Yakult drink while waiting for my coffee to be done.

I went back to the Pickup Coffee stall after ordering at the Jeffluff stall, and while waiting for the coffee, I took a picture of how they made it with their machine. It took about 15 minutes for all my orders to be ready.

Luckily, there was one small table beside the Jeffluff stall where we could sit and enjoy our coffee and food, so we sat there.

I was surprised that the size of the coffee cup was pretty big now, but I wasn’t impressed with their new cup design since I couldn’t see what was inside to take a picture. Before, their cups were transparent, but now they have changed. The taste of the caramel macchiato was just fine-the balance of sweetness and bitterness was okay.

The yen coin bun was also good. However, the elasticity of the mozzarella and cheese was a bit hassle to me since it didn’t cut properly when I tried it. It immediately went dry. But my kid enjoyed it-the taste and smell were inviting, and overall it was good.
The lemon yakult drink is also refreshing and has a healthy taste not sugary.

I couldn’t finish the coffee at the table, so I just drank it while walking home.

Overall, my experience here is always good, as it is very convenient for me. With just a 5-minute walk from home, I can already enjoy coffee and food.
