Making Felt Headbands For My Daughter || Month Contest

In this entry, I will make a felt headband for my child. Flannel is a soft woven fabric that has varying levels of softness. This flannel cloth is made from wool fibers that have been through a process of heating and evaporation. Because of its softness and ease of cutting, flannel is perfect for making handicrafts and not a few people use flannel as high-value works of art.

Making crafts from flannel will be a very enjoyable hobby in itself. Besides being useful for filling spare time, making crafts can also generate coffers of money that can be traded among the public. There are so many crafts made of flannel either dolls, decorations and so on with various types of crafts.

Here I will make a flannel headband for my child, the materials I need are as follows.

Ingredients

• Flannel
• Stick glue
• Scissors
• Fountain pen
• Headbands
• Thread
• Needle

Making Instructions

First draw the moon or as you wish on the flannel.

Then cut out the results of the image.

After that, unite the moon that has been cut into pairs.

Sew on the edge of the moon thoroughly.

Do it to the end.

Scissors of flannel to make a headband with a rectangular shape. Because my flannel is short so I have to cut it into 2 pieces and join them.

I sewed it from the inside and then turned it inside out.

Attach the sarong to the headband.

Then the moon shape flannel that has been sewn, apply glue and attach it to the headband.

Do it until everything is attached to the bando.

The final result is as follows.

The moon decoration headband is ready, I hope my child will like it, this headband is comfortable when worn because it is covered in flannel. Flannel is very soft and comfortable to use, it's also easy to make for crafts. Various types of crafts can be made with flannel because this fabric is one of the fabrics that is widely used in the community. Not a few students also need this flannel to make crafts at school with unique artwork for their skills.
