Quick update | HiveCreators
Proposal Status
The proposal is still awaiting approval and currently has 13% support. We are defining a reasonable deadline for waiting on funding before fully activating an alternative plan.
Plan B
We have already started working on an alternative path.
- Exploring external funding opportunities.
- Sustaining Hive's communication strategy, even at a minimal scale.
- Reducing dependency on DHF approval to continue making progress.
Our goal is to keep building regardless of the proposal's outcome.
Community Feedback
We have been carefully listening to the community.
Every comment, concern, and criticism is being organized into a decision framework that will help answer questions such as:
- Does it make sense to submit a revised proposal?
- Do the current conditions allow proposals like this to be evaluated fairly?
- What should change before presenting a new version?
Rather than reacting immediately, we want to make informed decisions based on what we have learned.
Documentation
We are developing a practical guide focused on modern marketing and adoption systems for Hive.
The objective is to document our experience and create a resource that can help future proposals and community initiatives.
Topics include:
- Communication strategy.
- Marketing frameworks.
- Adoption systems.
- Lessons learned throughout this process.
Improving the Onboarding Experience
Work has already begun on a new version of join.holahive.com.
If we want to increase adoption, the first experience a new user has with Hive should feel clear, trustworthy, and easy to understand.
Internal Review
We are also conducting an internal review of our own work.
The objective is to define project management criteria that allow us to:
- Measure our own performance.
- Identify opportunities for improvement.
- Find better ways to contribute to other community-funded initiatives.
Moving Forward
None of this stops because the proposal has not yet been approved.
We will continue building.
At HiveCreators, we do not see this moment as a setback. We see it as an opportunity to rethink how we execute initiatives and how those initiatives are perceived within Hive.
We are not waiting for perfect conditions. We are building while learning.
Every partnership, every resource, and every lesson learned will be used to strengthen a vision based on:
- Honest communication.
- Sustainable growth.
- Greater visibility for the people building on Hive.
Our goal is not simply to execute a proposal.
Our goal is to help improve how Hive communicates its value, supports adoption, and builds initiatives capable of creating long-term impact.
