Conversation with a Card

This year, I started a hangout event exclusive for crochet artists. The main goal of the event is to connect with other makers. So during our hangouts/date days, we work on various kinds of activities instead of just crocheting the entire time we are together.

For this month of December, we had our first-ever Christmas date day! It was fun yet calm at the same time.

One of the activities we got to experience was a Sound Healing session, facilitated by the owner of the wellness center where we had our hangout. It was a first time for all of us, if I remember it correctly.

When our session started, each of us were asked to randomly pick a card from the deck, and observe/connect with the card to see what it is trying to tell us.

I personally got the card, Dream Big.

The moment I saw my card, I smiled right away. I immediately knew it was meant for me.

You see, I am a big dreamer. I have so much plans and dreams for the future. Not only for myself, but as well as the important people around me. A lot of times, I do start on the plans that I have in mind. It's just that I either chicken out midway or I make my dream small enough for me to carry easily.

But isn't the point of dreaming becoming something bigger and better than we already are?

So when I saw this card, I was reminded to not be afraid to dream big, and to actually believe I am capable of reaching them. 'Cause just like what is shown in the photo, the universe is my playground. I just need to believe that stars would align and make my dreams come true, especially when I do things with a deeper purpose.

This card also seems like telling me to embrace my feminine side. Feel all the emotions. Embrace every vulnerability. And also, stay cute and beautiful 😆.

The "action" mentioned in the book is also very timely. Since it is almost the end of the year, it is also time for me to backtrack on my 2025 goals and start visualizing the ones for 2026.

Aaaa. Exciting days ahead!

Let us dream big, everyone. And of course, let us start/continue doing small steps to achieve them.
