We Can Make #STEEMIT More Better Than It Is Already.

Dear steemians,
I have been on steemit for a while now,and there is something i have observed that i wish to share.

I'm aware that, Steemit is a social media platform where everyone gets paid for creating and curating content.
Not just any content but good and interesting ones.
You post content, people decide if they like it or not and depending on how ‘popular’ it is, you get paid.
But for these few weeks of my stay here on steemit, i realised people upvote contents of others they are familier with, more unless like upvoting a friends content.
But steemit should go more than that, i believe that we don't have to upvote a friend's content just because they are our friends, but we should look out for very good contents and give upvotes or even promote these content.
I get disappointed when i come across contents that needs more upvote only to find very few votes and less views.
Apart from making money here on steemit,we can learn from the various contents posted,
Lets not just bypass contents,but try reading them or atleast comment, to make authors feel part of the steemit family.
I will entreat each one of us to try as much as posible to encourage others by according the needed UPVOTE, RESTEEM if possible as well as FOLLOW so as to help others promote their contents for the betterment of steemit and each one of us.
