Preparing the Heart for God's Outpouring (Joel.2:22-29)

Hello everyone and a happy new week to you all

God is ready to pour his spirit on us and all we have to do is prepare ourselves to get it. Joel. 2:12 & 13 tells us to prepare ourselves and return to him with fasting with weeping, with mourning and that we should rend pur heart and not our garment. God is not looking for hypocrites. Where are those people that are ready to give their heart and not the garment?? God doesn't want people that will give part of themselves and not their all. If you are disconnected from God you can't just go back like that there has to be a sacrifice and the big question here is what are you willing to sacrifice to get what you want?

Genuine desire and hunger is what will make you turn to God with fasting (sacrifice), weeping which shows brokenness and with mourning which shows need for a comforter. You must first display these properties before you can reserve the outpour of God's spirit. While waiting you will experience the grain which represents growth and energy, the wine which represents sweetness and lastly the oil which represents attraction.
