My Actifit Report Card: July 10 2026
Wild animals often die in accidents while crossing the road in the Madhupur forest section of the Tangail-Mymensingh highway. The Forest Department has taken an effective initiative to solve this problem.
Five ropeways (canopy corridors) have been specially constructed with tall trees at five places on both sides of the highway under the National Park Range. Through these corridors, monkeys and other tree-dwelling wildlife can move safely from one side to the other without coming down to the ground.
As a result of this initiative, on the one hand, the loss of wildlife will be reduced, and on the other hand, it will also play an important role in preserving the natural ecosystem of the forest area.
