Power
Taking time out for meditation and mindfulness allows you to observer the content of your thoughts. Because reactions are visceral and overwhelming it can be challenging to stay strong in the enslaught of the resulting emotions. When you remember, its just a thought I'm believing and giving power to you can dissipate the strength of the expression that emerges within you and allow it to pass without an outer reaction.
