Henna is the leaves of a plant also called henna that is mashed and mixed with water. It has been used in many uses, including dyeing the fur of animals, and was used to treat cracked feet and many other medicinal uses. Henna was associated with the ancient Arabs with luck, health, and passion.

But the only use in which henna is still used is women’s adornment. The love of adornment is a nature that counts on all women of the earth, but henna is reserved for the Arab woman only, and she is the one who inherited and bequeathed this custom across generations, where she draws with henna on her hands and feet many wonderful drawings and designs and remains painted On the skin for several days, perhaps weeks.

And henna in Arab culture is of great importance, and there is a night called the henna night, which is the night before the wedding day, in which the bride is adorned with the most beautiful designs of henna on her hands and feet. And this custom still applies to this day within the Arab society of all its classes. You cannot find any Arab woman who does not know henna or who has not used it before.
