Autumn Appreciation Post
I've always been a summer type of person. Cold weather brings me misery and puts me in a perpetual bad, sour, morbid mood. This has been the tendency for years on end. Last time I felt true joy from the changing of the seasons was when I was a kid before my parents' divorce. I think I had enough brain cells to be able to appreciate the turning of the wheel back then. So this year I decided that whatever I do I should be able to lift my head up and notice at least one beautiful thing about the changed natural environment. It slows time, grounds me and gently nudges me back into the present.
So I present to you my first of many AAPs - autumn appreciation posts. Enjoy!
