Random Chamber Story! | A Recurrent Tonsillitis Family!

There is a family that is a regular customer of our clinic. I don't know, maybe they are visiting other clinics as well. I never met the father. Most of the time, the mother brings three kids, all of them are patients (mother + kids). In almost all cases, the unmarried sister of the mother accompanies them. It appeared that, being unmarried, she (mother's sister) took the role of caring for the kids!! They visit all the GPs in rotation :)

All of them have quite big tonsils and in almost 100% of the time, they come with recurrent tonsillitis. They visited us many times, almost every month. Since 2019, the mother visited over 100 times, the elder two kids over 50 times, and the youngest one over 30 times (since 2021)! Every time, each of them takes an antibiotic, along with other medicines. Over time, they have found out which one works better for them. Hence, they have kept a picture of those medicines. They ask us to write those medicines! Easy work for us :)

All of them are the perfect candidates for a tonsillectomy operation. They don't want that. I tried to convince them to visit the ENT doctor for an operation. Hopefully, with the operation, they can get rid of this recurring issue.
