Gmail’s NEW Feature - Manage Subscriptions Guide – Part2

Hey All,

As promised this post is in continuation to Gmail’s new feature – Manage Subscriptions Guide Part2 where I am going to explain how we can get rid of receiving mails from the subscription list that you see for your mail-id. But before I go on to explain that part there was an interesting question that came up in the last post and it was around folks not able to see this feature. This was quite obvious at first I was also not able to see this feature and in order to see it one need to click on sign > which allows you to see more options. Now that we are all set, lets look into how to manage our subscription list. All you need to do is click on the Unsubscribe link for which you don’t want to receive mails any longer. Here is the image that showcases to the various list that I have subscribed in the past.

I am now going to get rid of limjobs Info as I find them to be spending SPAM most of the time. First I clicked the Unsubscribe link it gives me the following popup which indicated about stop receiving messages from info@imjobs.com I can either block the sender or Go to Website and will need to click Unsubscribe button.

Since I wanted to check if Iimjobs are going to honor the Unsubscription or not I wanted to try the Unsubscription method and see what happens next. Hence I clicked to – “Go to Website” and it redirected me to the Iimjobs website but then I had hard time finding the Unsubscribe link. I searched like for 5 minutes but no success and for now I just went ahead and added the sender - info@imjobs.com to the block list for now. Later I will explore for the other list and see if that is the case for all or other websites has a better option maintaining their Unsubscription list.
