Binance Crypto Exchange - New Crypto Transfer Procedures for India - Lets Explore...

Hey All,

Its been a while that I had recevied a notification from Binance Crypto Exchange regarding the Crypto Deposit & Transfer Procedures for Indian users. The mail stated this Subject line::- "Update: New Crypto Transfer Procedures for India" The most important part is that the crypto deposit and transfer rule has already been implied as it all got implemented on 22th June 2026, where users may need to provide more information when receiving and sending crypto on the Binance Exchange. Following is the snippet of the mail::

In simple words if I were to put what the new update is? They are trying to make the process stricter for users by requiring them to provide more information about their cryptocurrency deposits and withdrawals. So what are those changes:-

Changes to Crypto Deposit and Withdrawal Procedures

  • Crypto Deposits to Binance: Users will be asked to provide the sender’s information from where they are receiving any amount of crypto. And similarly..

  • Withdrawals from Binance: Users will be asked to provide the beneficiary’s information when they are sending any amount of crypto.

There is going to be an action required to be filled by the users - while perfroming crypto deposit/withdrawal. The users will see a pop-up message apprear and they will need to provide additional information about the sender or the beneficiary when performing deposits and withdrawals. If you are sending to yourslef in another exhange then you will need to provide the name of the receiving crypto exchange. And if you are sending to Self-Hosted Wallet then you will need to provide additional information on the beneficiary when performing withdrawals. The most important part failing to provide the information will result into transaction being delayed or may not be processed if users do not provide the necessary information. Also in some cases it may result into returning the transaction to the originator. IT was funny to this note in the mail where Binance mentioned - No action is required if users do not perform crypto transfers. As if there is not going to be any action when the crypto is sitting ideal on the exchange all this hurdel is for the active users participating in crypto exchange or doing some with their crypto investment. Anyways this was the update that I wanted to pass along and this should be it for todays post on - "Binance Crypto Exchange - New Crypto Transfer Procedures for India - Lets Explore..." Be Safe out there folks and remember - "Not your keys, not your crypto."... Cheers
