Caelia

This is a new character that I created today. I am thinking about a harpy, avian, and magic mystery as I was conceptualizing this character. Take a look at the eerie, multi-eyed crests and anklets, and the elemental contrast of her fiery red skin matched with icy, crystalline skirts and pale blue hair. I call her Caelia to hint on the sky.

2. Visual & Anatomic Breakdown

• Avian Mantle: The golden winged crest draped over her shoulders grants gliding and air manipulation, channeling wind directly through her movements.
• Ocular Talismans: The eye-like gems studded along her chest crest and ankle cuffs grant her intense sensory perception
• Glacial Tail-Feathers: Her lower skirt consists of sharpened, frost plumage that acts as defensive shards in combat.
• Fiery Skin & Frost Hair: Her unique form balances inner heat represented by her vibrant red skin with calm control over the winds represented by her icy blue hair.

3. Personality & Demeanor

• Vibe: Mischievous, highly observant, and elusive.
• Traits: She rarely stays grounded for long. She speaks in riddles, loves perching in high, dangerous places, and views smaller, unevolved creatures with a playful, protective curiosity.

How I made this drawing

Playing on shapes, and interesting silhouette like a pointy and curved head gear, some sharp edges, asymmetrical vest and cool footwear

This is the finished line drawing it shows her beautiful form, demeanor and outfit ready for the base colors

I am leaning towards purple or indigo for her hair or skin but this shade of red I could not let pass and here it is totally giving her a fiery skin. Other intense colors in mind I need to let go so as not to lose the intensity of her new red complexion that is why I chose earthy colors and some muted blues.

The asymmetrical vest is looking a little random so I added this wing like part on her mantle. It echoes the other part from the vest I think it worked
