Battle Mage Secrets Challenge: Lost Legendaries

Hello Splinterfam! Behold my entry for this week's challenge. This rule came out very late and good thing I was still able to make it in the nick of time.

This week's rule is Lost Legendaries:

While the entire ruleset during my match are as follows:

No Legendaries, double damage to stunned units, 21 mana, and active splinters are fire, water, death and dragon.

Let the games begin!

We start by having Kelya vs Kelya on both sides since it is one of the most powerful summoners in the Chaos Legion edition especially if there are no legendaries in the match.

You may notice that the opponent only placed Cruel Sethropod on the front and then allocated his other monsters evenly in terms of damage. He also placed Angelic Mandarin as a safeguard in case I will employ magic attackers which luckily I didn't.

During the first round it seemed even since we both lost our backlines due to combined attacks from Pelacor Bandit and Uraeus. But what sets my line-up apart from him is that my front liner Diemonshark gained extra attack and speed from Enrage ability and once it killed an enemy monster, it gets to attack again because of Trample. It has even got the chance to counter attack due to Retaliate ability. This card is a beast!

Battle Result:

I was victorious mainly because my Deimonshark overpowered his Cruel Sethropod and the weakness from his frontline led to fall of the rest of his line-up. They were decimated by my other monsters.

Lesson from this match:

Make sure to have a decent frontliner like Deimonshark especially if the mana cap is not very limited (above 15) to ensure that your front will last longer and you could inflict as much damage as possible.

Also, always watch the active splinters closely. Magical attackers are usually used in combination with Obsidian but since earth splinter is not active, there's a small chance that people would use magic, so it's not very important to use Angelic Mandarin in this match. The opponent could have used his resources on other monsters.
