What if on a boss fight loss, you obtain a common consumable Item?

These would be flat bonuses, but probably less than what I outlined. I was thinking the following:
-Damage Potion: +10 damage
-Dodge/Crit Potion: +1% flat
-attack/claim: +1

Then, on a boss fight WIN, we use the current ratios for crate vs consumable drop rate, but this time you either get an uncommon to legendary crate OR a rarer potion. This would require a nerf of the focus and protection potions, to a degree. My thought would be to have them as follows:
-Protection: 4 hours
-Focus Potion: increase rarity to epic or legendary, not sure

These changes would do the following:
-still prevent infinite flux loop
-make boss fights attractive and FUN
-not require super OP potions
We’d likely want to add a few more rarer potions also as not to flood the terracore with noob protection.
