The Power of Greed.
As humans, we naturally always want more. More comfort. More money. More opportunities. Free things. But it takes conscious effort on ones part to control greed before it controls us.

Recently in my area, some people started selling foodstuff at unbelievably cheap prices. A bag of rice for ₦25k, 25 litres of oil for 30k Noodles for 10k. These Prices were far below the market rate.
At first, I became suspicious. I wondered if the products were expired or maybe palliatives being resold. But people started buying. The first set collected their goods successfully, and suddenly everyone began saying, “It’s real! It’s working!” they immediately trusted the process.
Even I was tempted. I almost fell for it.
But one thing kept bothering me: after payment, you had to wait a whole week before collection.
Yesterday, the business disappeared.
The people were no where to be found.
The office was locked. Phones switched off. Thousands of people where waiting outside to collect their goods.
their money was gone. Chaos everywhere.
And honestly, it taught me something:
Not everything cheap is truly cheap. There is no free thing in free town. You would still pay somehow.
Sometimes greed doesn’t come looking dangerous. It comes looking like an opportunity we can’t afford to miss.
In this life, we must learn to pause, think, question, and control the urge to rush into things simply because others are doing it.
