JUST ONE NO.

I was chatting with a friend some days ago and I told her I don't ask for help because I hate the word "No". Not just disliking the word I also don't like being a Borden.

This conversation started because she asked someone for help and the person refused, not because he can't do it at the moment but because he feels it's not something he can afford at the moment. So she was tagging him "Sting" and "inconsiderate".
This person has been so helpful in the previous days and years to her yet just that one "No" made him a bad person.

Everyone likes being treated fairly and because of our human nature we tend to pick up on people if it's not in their power to assist us on a day we truly needed it.

Just one "No" from a very close friend can ruin the relationship if not properly controlled.

As humans, it's very good to have and appreciative spirit, saying thank you and really mean it. Gratitude gives one another opportunity to be shown good again.

Insight will help us make excuses for others when we feel they are not treating us well, this will help protect relationships.

So instead of counting that one "No" why not count the many times they said "yes" to you and really thank them.
