Crack Mack Update - The Final Two Weeks

We now have fifty five days checked off the calendar for the flowering stage of the Crack Mack.

This means that as of tomorrow she will be in her last two weeks of flowering.

These buds are some of the biggest and most resinous I have ever grown.

I'm really proud to have made it this far as a grower, and I remain humble in this sense that I still feel I have a lot to learn and I believe my progression as a grower will increase in skill with every successful future grow.

This pistil coverage is getting a little browner... There are still a lot of white pistils however, and these pistil sites are actively growing bud as we speak. I expect that in two weeks there will be almost complete brown coverage but not one hundred percent.. Some strains continue to grow pistils all the way until the end of harvest. It is strain specific usually, but I propose that it is also health specific, in that healthy plants have a higher likeness of producing pistils all the way until harvest time.

I did cut off a few hanging branches on the outskirts of the netting today, partially because I need a little bud to smoke prior to harvest, and partially because it will help the plant a little with utilizing its energy for top cola production. The impact will be minimal though, as a half ounce or so worth of lower nugs on this plant hardly makes a noticeable difference.

I couldn't be happier with how the Crack Mack turned out. I'm a bit sad that this will be the last Crack Mack we see for a while, but I have more seeds and am planning to grow her again someday, so we might see more of the magnificent Crack Mack returning in the future.

All of the loving support I get from the Hive community makes the process a lot more rewarding as well, I appreciate all of you following along with my grows and being so supportive.

I'll be growing some official fire strains next and I'm super excited to bring this content as well.
