Destiny 2: Hunter knife build update
So far this week I have been doing a ton of primer, wet sanding, and spot filling. But at this point I am getting pretty close to a finished master ready to make a mold of.
I have filled 99% of the small dents with spot/ glazing putty and have everything to a 400 grit wet sand.
Right after I took these photos I shot another layer of grey primer. This will help me pick out the final little imperfections on the prop. Then tomorrow I will wet sand the whole prop and spot fill the needed locations. I will repeat till it is at a perfect mirror 2K sanded finish. Once I get to that point I will let it dry/ cure 100% for a few days and then it will be ready for step #2: making/ prepping the 2 part mold.
