Rough jadestone from the Fraser Canyon, B.C.
Its partially sanded and polished but otherwise how i found it.
British Columbia's jade is of a type called nephrite and the jade found in the the north of the province is often perfect, like an emerald and as valuable. I live in the southen part and our jade is usually darker with more variations in colour. Still pretty though, right?
