Coastal Execution.
After clearing a beach of hostile Apex Red-Eye Watchers and Apex Spikesknouts using calculated silent strikes, I examined nearby corpses for relics. Finding no definitive answers, I activated the Focus to follow a track leading past a destroyed machine carcass and straight toward the tall tower.
After examining the corpse on the beach, I had to kill the machines first to clear the area safely. So I went for them, and when they were looking around without knowing I was still there, I took care of this Apex Red-Eye Watcher with a silent strike.
Then I noticed this Apex Spikesknout was stuck there wandering the path. So I took it down with a silent strike as well, when another one of its kind was not so far away from our position.
I had to go for the other Apex Spikesknout next, but it looked smart enough to not give me an easy chance to go for it. And I was also patient, waiting for the time to clear up.
I went toward another machine instead to maximize my time. And this one was also an Apex Red-Eye Watcher patrolling the upper ridge line overlooking the water.
The sun started rising while this Watcher was looking around for me. But I took a chance and took it down with a silent strike instead while the light changed.
Then after waiting for a moment to go for the Spikesknout, I went for it when I understood it was the right moment and I took it down with a silent strike as well. And this was the last machine that I had to kill before going for Oris.
I have taken down all the machines in the immediate area. I had to examine the corpses by the ruin next, and I didn't find any relic around the sand, so Aloy couldn't be sure if either of them were Oris.
And I picked up the tracks instead using my Focus to illuminate the pathway. Then I started following the path, hoping Oris escaped the aggressive machines through that specific way.
After following the highlighted tracks for some time through the overgrown brush, I found a machine carcass of a Red-Eye Watcher. It looked like it gave chase, but Oris fought it off successfully.
Then I reached the tower structure along the cliffside. It looked like Oris ran inside the tower, probably to escape the Sunwings up there, and the tracks ended there as well, so he must have climbed up the tower, which I was going to do next
The next post will be coming soon. Screenshots are my take from the game and I took the game logo that I used on the thumbnail picture from online.
