The Ancient Shipwreck Site.
I flew toward an ancient shipwreck to recover batteries and a sensor for the gyrocompass, passing a familiar Sunwing landing site along the way. After retrieving a fully charged battery from a shore wreck, I dived into the ocean to search the submerged section, where patrolling machines forced a quick underwater escape.
I had to get to an ancient shipwreck site that the navigators mentioned, so I could grab the batteries and the sensor they would need to make the gyrocompass work again. So I started riding out, pushing my mount into a steady sprint across the sweeping, overgrown valleys toward the distant coastline.
On my way, I decided to mess up with some machines. So I was flying real low, and I even got some damage in this way, scraping against the dense canopy and drawing immediate fire from the alert hostile units stationed in the brush below.
Then I decided to stay on high ground because I didn't want to lose my mount. And I flew toward that big tower, but it looked like I was there before; that has a Sunwing landing site built into the upper scaffolding.
I reached the location and I found part of the shipwreck on the ocean, but it looked like it was not the one I was looking for. The rusted metal hull sat empty in the rolling surf without any sign of the salvaged electronic components.
I started checking around, and I found another part of the shipwreck on the shore. So I flew there, but it looked like that shipwreck was guarded by a big machine; so I left my mount and jumped off to glide down quietly.
After landing there, I started checking around and I found a fully charged battery inside the shipwreck. And I also found an antenna that should have the sensor, but after examining it, it looked like the antenna was broken and no intact sensor unit was there.
I decided to check the other part of the shipwreck on the ocean. So I flew there and I jumped on the shipwreck.
But it looked like there could be some batteries and also the sensor unit around, but underwater. So I started diving and that's when I noticed there were some machines diving around that shipwreck as well, their glowing blue optics were cutting straight through the murky depths.
One of the machines partially saw me from afar. So I decided to take cover, but it found me after searching thoroughly; so I had to start escaping it, kicking hard against the current to find an underwater cavern to break its direct line of sight.
The next post will be coming soon. Screenshots are my take from the game and I took the game logo that I used on the thumbnail picture from online.
