Streamed live on Jan 22, 2019 by Owen Benjamin on YouTube. Regarding Eric Nimmer's false military service record. Eric Nimmer has claimed he served in the US Marine Corps, completed four tours of duty overseas, had at least 9 confirmed kills, and attained the rank of Captain.

None of this is true. Eric Nimmer was an Officer Candidate for the USMC, but was disenrolled after less than a year. Two FOIA requests from the Department of the Navy have confirmed this, as well as public statements by Eric Nimmer after this stream. A FOIA request from the US Army shows Eric Nimmer received pay in 2013 as an E-3 (Specialist) in the reserves, i.e. the National Guard. Eric Nimmer has confirmed this after this stream.

This does not reflect on Owen, Eric was the fraud who said he was a US Marine. Owen is only responsible for his behavior. He deleted Eric's comment acknowledging the fraudulent claims on his video. He puts his friendship before the truth. Eric has profited off his claims of being a Force Recon Marine, Owen helped perpetuate his myth. Owen is responsible for that.
