The Rules for Secure Operations

These are not mine, this is a compilation of knowledge over years of experience and study. Mistakes have been made and sometimes we learn the hard way. I am attempting to help so that you don't have to take the same path. Some of these are self evident but still are of note. This will be a multi-part series, as there will be many rules to learn from, as there have been many lessons. ABC. Always Be Careful.

Rule 37: Do nothing which is of no use. (Miyamoto Musashi)

Rule 38: Be content with what you have.

Rule 39: Opening the door for a lady is not optional.

Rule 40: Your style is defined by what makes you feel most comfortable.

Rule 41: Sensible defaults can reduce friction and provide simplicity anywhere one can think to apply them. (Patrick Rhone)

Rule 42: There’s nothing wrong with staying small. You can do big things with a small team.

Rule 43: Personal notes should always be handwritten, however be prepare to destroy them at a moment’s notice.

Rule 44: Diplomas and certifications are OK, but trust experience over a diploma any time.

Rule 45: The greater the level of calmness of our mind, the greater our peace of mind, the greater our ability to enjoy life.

Rule 46: Find something you are willing to die for.

Rule 47: Do not put too much value on stuff.

Rule 48: Don’t go into debt.

These rules are focused on personal conduct and worth. They provide guidance on behavior that ensure success and harmony. Thank you for your continued support. See the original 12 and the following part 2 and part 3.
