He appeared strong, like a mountain,
You mistook his empathy for support,
And his love for But one day,
Without a word, he fell silent.
No explanation, no message.
Just a deep, heavy silence.
The kind of silence only adopted
By those who are broken inside,
But don’t want to burden others with their pain.
That silence was a scream —
One only heard by those
Truly close to him.
Remember this:
If someone who always stands by you goes silent one day,
Don’t ignore that silence.
Maybe he’s tired of always being the strong one,
Maybe he, too, needs someone to ask, "Are you okay?"
Because mountains endure everything...
