Thank you for all your collaboration and help, and a special thanks to my friend bitcoinman for making this possible, as well as to everyone who has contributed in their own way.
Over the course of the week, I’ll be sharing all the details as they develop and updating you on the progress made regarding the repair of the house’s roof.
I also want to remind you that there are thousands of people—including family members and friends—who are literally on the street or at home because they’ve lost everything. Even though rescue efforts and humanitarian aid continue, it all feels like something straight out of a horror movie.
However, some of my personal activities have been put on hold because I’ve been sick for about 10 days now with an infection that I contracted—I have no idea how, why, or where it came from. This has happened before: I get inflamed pimples on my face, usually caused by stress and an unbalanced diet, which has led to the emergence of these sebaceous cells that form glands in certain parts of the body.
But because of an incident involving my finger, I’d been taking antibiotics a few days ago. I completed the full course of treatment, but the inflammation and infection in this area of my face are still quite visible—ugly and disgusting. I’ve taken several photos, but I made just one collage and applied a filter to pixelate the image so I wouldn’t show it as-is, since it really does look a bit gross.
