The Encounter!

Today, while working along the road, lost in my thoughts, I felt someone tap my shoulders.

"Excuse me, Sir. Your money is about to fall off your pocket."

I looked up to see a tall dark and slim lady smiling at me. She smelt good and her eyes shined brightly.

"Oh. Thank you so much. I was so lost in my thought." I explained, while putting back my money inside my pocket.

She spoke elegantly and I found myself smiling.

As we continued talking, I was amazed by her enthusiasm and positivity. I know people like her still exist but meeting her on a one-on-one felt surreal.

She had no pretense and her genuineness was refreshing. The worries in my head found their way out.

She asked to walk down with me, giving me words of encouragement. I realized that she was a source of inspiration and motivation. She told me not to get tired of chasing my dreams. She offered to be a support system for me which I greatly appreciated.

Meeting Favour today brought a kind of joy in my heart. She reminds me that kindness, empathy and authenticity can make a real huge difference in the world.

I know that this friendship is just beginning. But, I'm excited to see what we will both learn and achieve together.
