Gill - DBGT
¡Hola! Hoy traigo algo de nostalgia. Dibujé a Gill, un pequeño robot que aparece en DBGT, aquella serie odiada, ignorada o amada, dependiendo del público al que le preguntes... En mi caso no me pareció tan mala, algunos diseños me gustaron bastante y la verdad, comparándola un poco con el camino que llevan hoy, no queda tan mal parada.
Hello! Today I bring some nostalgia. I drew Gill, a little robot that appears in DBGT, that series hated, ignored or loved, depending on the public you ask... In my case I didn't think it was so bad, I liked some of the designs and the truth, comparing it a little bit with the way it is today, it's not so bad.
Comencé con algunas líneas guía suaves, aún voy corrigiendo la mala costumbre de afincar demasiado en esta etapa. Luego fui haciendo pequeñas marcas y también las sombras. Algunas partes las adapté a un estilo propio, incluso el torso es más redondo.
I started with some soft guide lines, I am still correcting the bad habit of sharpening too much at this stage. Then I was making small marks and also the shadows. Some parts I adapted to my own style, even the torso is more rounded.
Luego añadí el ojo, ayudándome con una moneda, para después remarcar las líneas, mejorar las sombras y oscurecer las "uñas".
Then I added the eye, helping myself with a coin, to highlight the lines, enhance the shadows and darken the "nails".
En el editado no innové, sino que seguí el estilo habitual. Sombras, bisel, fondo redondeado (color naranja en referencia a la serie original) y un par de filtros.
In the editing I didn't innovate, but followed the usual style. Shadows, bevel, rounded background (orange color in reference to the original series) and a couple of filters.
