My Sunday afternoon 🌄[ENG-ESP]

For years, Sundays have been sacred days for me, and not precisely because I go to church. It's no secret that since retiring from religious life, I have been a very poor practitioner, and I believe this is partly due to my philosophy of life, but that's another matter. I'm not saying that I'm a non-believer; on the contrary, I consider myself a deeply religious person. I say this in case there was any doubt.

I say that Sundays are sacred to me because I try to do nothing. They are days when I try to offer an ode to leisure with my attitude toward life. I don't put too much effort into Sundays; I just let them flow however they flow. Today, for example, I woke up a little late, had a couple of arepas with eggs for breakfast, drank coffee, and then read a little. At noon, while I was preparing lunch, I did some laundry, taking advantage of the sunny day.

After lunch, I lay down for a while and took a short nap of about 10 minutes. I got up, poured myself some coffee, and started watching the videos of HiveFest that has been taking place these days. Later, I'll be writing about it. After watching the video for a long time, I got up and poured myself another cup of coffee. I looked for a cookie and some chocolate, and I started looking at my bullet journal, keeping track of my habits.

At that moment, I noticed that my cat had come up behind me and fallen asleep in her chair. I like to think that she enjoys being close to me. And so my day has passed. I will continue watching the video later and read a little more. I made this post not only to complete another day of the #hive14challenge, but also as a moment to pause and reflect on my day.

Mi domingo por la tarde

Desde hace años los domingos para mi son días sagrados, y no precisamente porque me dedique a ir a la iglesia no es un secreto que después de retirarme de la vida religiosa he sido muy mal practicante y creo en parte se lo debo a mí filosofía de vida pero es otro asunto. No con esto digo que sea no creyente, al contrario, me considero profundamente creyente, digo esto por si había dado lugar a la duda.

Digo que los domingos para mí son sagrados por el hecho de pretender hacer nada, son días que pretendo con mi actitud vital ofrecer una oda al ocio. Y particularmente no le pongo demasiado empeño a los domingos, simplemente dejo que fluyan como sea que fluyan. Hoy por ejemplo me desperté algo tarde, desayuné un par de arepas con huevo, tomé café, y luego leí un poco. Al medio día mientras preparaba el almuerzo al mismo tiempo lavé un poco de ropa aprovechando que el día esta soleado.

Tras almorzar, me acosté un rato y tomé una pequeña siesta de unos 10 min. Me levanté, me serví café y me puse a ver los videos del HiveFest que se ha venido realizando en estos días. Ya luego, estaré escribiendo sobre ello. Luego de un largo rato viendo el video, me levanté y me serví otro poco de café. Busqué una galleta y un chocolate, y me puse ver mi billet journal, y hacía un seguimiento de mis hábitos.

En ese momento noté que detrás de mí había llegado mi gatita, se había echado a dormir en su silla, me gusta pensar que le gusta estar cerca de mí. Y así ha transcurrido mí día, seguiré viendo el video más tarde, leeré otro poco. Hice esta publicación no solo para cumplir con otro día del reto #hive14challenge sino como un momento de detenimiento y recuento de mi día.
