If you are a seafood lover like myself and you happened to be somewhere in the Southern part of the Philippines, then The Red Tail restaurant should be on your list if not at the top :)

We happened to know about this place when a client highly recommended this place for us to try dining in during one of our trips in Cagayan de Oro.

The Red Tail is famous for their seafood dishes served with various sauces and level of spiciness, depending on your preference.

We ordered their best seller, the fisherman's catch which is a combination of shrimps, mussels and crabs. We ordered 2 of these; 1 extra spicy and 1 mildly spicy :) One serving amounted to Php 455/lb (approx. 9 USD).

The place offers plates and a bib with plastic gloves to be used. Most people eating inside though prefered eating on the table lined with plastic mats and using their bare hands. That definitely included me! Nothing beats eating seadood than by doing it with your bare hands. We ended up ordering another casserole of shrimps in garlic sauce. (Which was so good!)

It was a great and delicious experience for us all. A wonderful one worth remembering even after our visit.
