Saitama era originalmente una persona muy común, pero un día decidió pasar el resto de su vida salvando al mundo del mal. Entonces, comenzó a entrenar, en su proceso de entrenamiento quedo calvo pero a cambio se volvió tan fuerte que podía derrotar a cualquier enemigo con un solo golpe.

La serie es una mezcla de comedia y shonen, la comedia viene de la mano de la parodia a los shonen tradicionales. Nada de presentaciones largas y los típicos discursos shonen, a Saitama le gusta todo lo más resumido posible. El pelado es un gran protagonista, se ve como todo le importa muy poco, al no poder encontrar un enemigo digno pierde la emoción de su laburo y en eso se apoya la comedia. Funciona bien

El mundo es una de las cosas reales que me impresionaron y muy interesadas en una serie. Kaijins, la ciudad, héroes, todos te permiten explorar. Imagina la capacidad de este mundo para imaginar la ciencia ficción. Tiene peleas animadas de forma espectacular, visualmente es una fiesta, la banda sonora es increíble y despliega un potencial tremendo para construir una historia muy interesante.
