Dos expresiones en que una sola letra cambia el significado totalmente. Una g, símbolo de gramo, que lleva al ave del estado de indefensión y posible desorientación al de la seguridad en sus propias capacidades.

No se posa en la rama porque es un soporte seguro, sino porque se sabe capaz de echar a volar si se llega a romper.

No parece que el viento fuera tan fuerte, pero las visitas llegaron, aunque solo duraron un instante, en que por poco se nos escapan antes de atrapar la imagen por pura suerte.

Durante dos años hemos disfrutado del paisaje y el vuelo de las aves que habitan en los parques y arboledas del sector. Bandadas de palomas, periquitos, cardenales y carpinteros tienen ahora de vecinos depredadores a los halcones que introdujeron en la ciudad, al parecer, como solución al exceso de población palomar.

He visto crecer la familia de cazadores que anidan entre las ramas de los pinos que ni en invierno pierden su fronda, sin ver que disminuya la población de palomas. ¿A quién se comen? Con seguridad no lo sé, pero no echo en falta ninguna especie. De momento parece haber equilibrio.

A la distancia y caminando por la grama, se me parece a un pollo inofensivo; no se aprecian sus garras, ni el ganchudo pico, pero en el aire, como familia de águilas, su vuelo es impresionante.
Confío en poder capturarlo en video un día de estos, porque una foto ha resultado imposible.
