Recovering slowly but surely
How can I describe this tonsil removal journey? Will it be worth it!?
Only time will tell.
I had my tonsils removed one week ago today, the first 5 1/2 days were easy, the next few have been soooo hard. The pain, the bog of eternal stench and the loneliness (due to nasty breath) have been UNREAL.
Our pets have been sure to snuggle me (less lately I’ve noticed..HA! )
My recovery has been much better than expected, definitely not fun. But better than I had hoped for.
Here’s to another week of healing and let the throat scab gods remove this disgusting mess off my throat 😂
