Fun with Family

Last night Wes, Addie and I got a little goofy!! We just had a little fun photoshoot together 🙂 I love how important photos are to our family. Good or bad. We love and appreciate them.

The trauma of losing so many people unexpectedly has given us an insight of how important capturing memories really is! This makes us stop and ask for pictures for no reason a lot of the time!

Our daughter recently lost another Father figure to a car accident, this has added to our total of lost loved ones and unfortunately this was the 3rd Father figure to our daughter we’ve lost in the last 7 years. His funeral really hit home for us as our daughter and her friend sang a beautiful song together to honor him. As we sat and listened to his daughters speak on his character and of how he was as a dad I watched Wes and noticed he had an “ah ha” moment. Making memories is so very important. It doesn’t matter what size you are, what your hair looks like, if you have acne etc. Your family won’t look back at those captured memories judgingly.

While you are out and about with loved ones. Speak up and ask for a photo! You won’t be sad about it (it’s awkward and weird sometimes. But. YOLO) Get weird. Get awkward and capture some memories!
