Five Minute Freewrite: scatter the seed

A long time ago, there was a village called Umundu. Their major occupation was farming and almost all families own or work on a farm.

One day, there was an argument between farmers about whether it's better to scatter the seed or place them together during planting. Those supporting scatter believe that this would give each individual seed a high survival chance while those placing them together believe that it would make them struggle to survive which ensures that only the strongest gene survives.

This argument went on for a long time until the village head had to step in. He made them understand that both methods are good, however he informs them that it all depends on the type of seeds and he even encourages them to try both methods on the same seed to see and understand the difference.

Those who love to experiment went ahead to do this while those who are ignorant and unwilling to learn choose to stick to their own ways. That was how the issue was resolved and it never occurs again.
