Hero Starter Kit, Showdown Update & Royal Essence (Changelog May 27th 2025)

Updates

• Showdown Mode
  • Players can now choose a Hero before entering a Showdown match, instead of selecting one from 3 randomly offered options.
  • This marks a shift back to prioritizing a single Hero, reducing complexity.
  • Players can still equip multiple Heroes, but it's no longer required for Showdown Mode.

• Hero Starter Kit
  • New and existing players are now prompted to choose a Hero and receive a starter kit containing:
    • A suitable weapon
    • Basic defense gear (chest, legs, feet)
    • Minted Basic Hero (when needed)
  • Designed to help players understand the game by onboarding them with a ready-to-play setup.

• New Alchemy Reagent: Royal Essence
  • Forgeable with 100 Crowns
  • Usable on Common and Uncommon items
  • Allows free-to-play players to experiment with the Alchemy system
  • Fully tradeable on the marketplace

• Ethereal Essence Adjusted
  • Now usable only on Rare, Epic, and Legendary items
  • Still remains the more powerful Essence
