Hero Showdown: Quickstart Guide

As you tread the cobblestones of Ethgard’s town square, a weathered noticeboard looms before you. A parchment flutters in the breeze, nailed firmly in place:

Listen up, Heroes. Time to sharpen your blades and tighten your armor. The Showdown fights have just started. Get your equipment ready now!

Step 1: Earn and forge chests

There are 3 different kinds of chests:

• Battle Chest
  • Contains 1 Hero Equipment. 95% chance of Common and 5% chance of Uncommon Rarity.
  • Earnable via Quests & forged with Crowns.
• Hero Chest
  • Contains 1 Hero Equipment. 75% chance of Common, 20% chance of Uncommon and 5% chance of Rare Rarity.
  • Forged with Crowns & Ethershards.
• Champion Chest
  • Contains 1 Hero Equipment. 60% chance of Common, 26% chance of Uncommon, 10% chance of Rare, 3% chance of Epic and 1% chance of Legendary Rarity.
  • Forged with Crowns & Ethershards.

Step 2: Loot items

Head over to your inventory and open your chests.

Step 3: Equip items to your heroes

Choose you a hero to equip your newly found item to. For example, Woda.

Step 4: Epic Battles

Enter the arena, select your Hero and start battling for glory and even more chests & rewards.

Bonus: How does it work?

There are 3 main stats:

• Strength
• Agility
• Intelligence

In addition there are 3 different armor types, associated to these stats:

• Armor (Strength - Heavy Armor)
• Protector (Agility - Light Armor)
• Garment (Intelligence - Cloth)

Plus multiple weapon types, also associated to these stats:

• Two-Hand Sword (Strength)
• One-Hand Sword (Strength)
• Two-Hand Axe (Strength)
• One-Hand Axe (Strength)
• Two-Hand Mace (Strength)
• Two-Hand Bow (Agility)
• Two-Hand Crossbow (Agility)
• One-Hand Throwing (Agility)
• Two-Hand Polearm (Agility)
• One-Hand Dagger (Agility)
• One-Hand Polearm (Intelligence)
• Two-Hand Staff (Intelligence)
• One-Hand Staff (Intelligence)
• One-Hand Mace (Intelligence)
• Two-Hand Runeblade (Intelligence)

Depending on the weapon the hero wears, a different stat is chosen as it's main stat, influencing the damage against a specific armor style.

• Strength
  • Strong against Protector
  • Weak against Armor

  • Strong against Garment

  • Strong against Armor
  • Weak against Garment

There are also a lot more attributes findable on equipment, which you can learn more within your hero equipment overview. Simply hover over a specific stat/attribute. Once you've got some items, equip/unequip items to see the differences they have on damage, armor, health, etc. of your hero.
