Ethgardians, the next chapter of Ethgard Legends (EGL) has arrived!

After months of hard work, we‘re excited to release the next version of our Alpha Game Client: V2.

What’s new? Nearly everything.

New Game Engine

We’ve completely rewritten EGL in a new game engine, making the leap from Unity to Phaser 3. This upgrade allows us to develop faster and smoother across Web, Mobile, and Desktop, with a Web-first approach.

Upgraded Server Architecture

Our game server architecture has also leveled up. We upgraded our in-house solution with Colyseus, which means a more scalable, reliable and future-proof gaming experience.

These core upgrades set the stage for the future of Ethgard Legends and our broader Ethgard universe, a world where games and stories truly come to life.

Improved Gameplay

And of course, the gameplay itself has received a major overhaul. V2 brings you an all-new board layout, refreshed strategies and rules, additional abilities, and much more - all designed to be dynamic, engaging, and strategically rich.
