- there's the Easter bunny, honey

- there's so much art they couldn't fit it all inside
- aw, don'tcha know dear, it's made to keep outdoors. it's the latest thing

- Hay Marvin, somebody painted us that day we were on the beach

- hold your horses, Randy. that door is misleading the place is no bigger than a stall
- maybe that's why she kept our painting outside. we can take the rain
- and wind! it's always so windy here by the ocean

hay, maybe it really was a stall in the old days. no need to go in some smelly old stall. let's try another gallery. there are plenty of them

- plenty of people today too. they come from all over. this must be the biggest art exhibition in Norway

- what's with all this children's art hanging in the trees?
- all the local kindergartens and preschools get a tree each to display their kids art in. it's really cool. some of the stuff is awesome

- typical Stavern scene. it's such a nice coast and this park is the perfect place. no wonder it's so popular

- wow, this old gunpowder house is the coolest place ever for an exhibition
- all the paintings are a perfect match for the room. it seems Casperi painted all these knowing just where he was going to hang them

- hay look, that's him. he's painting over one. he must not have liked how it turned out. i think he'll use the canvas to paint something else
- they can't all be masterpiecess i guess. at least he's recycling...

-that's Fritz Nygaard. his family has been here for generations. he's probably the oldest artist exhibiting here, mostly oil paintings and i think he just made a sale
- yeah, sales are important but every artist i talk to really wants exposure.
- sure, exposure of good art naturally leads to sales, and sales mean a lot more than just money...

- Galleri Kunstverftet features many different artists, styles and materials. i bought a really fun textile painting here last year
- let's take a gander
- or maybe even a goose...

- these faces are a bit much but i like how there are placed in the window. the naked trees outside make them extra spooky

-there's that textile artist i was talking about. she has her own style mixing painting and sewing. now she's explaining the piece she's working on. since it's been raining the past couple of days not many people have stopped by so some of the artists set themselves up to work on the spot. it adds a lot to the exhibition to see them in the process
- those paintings behind her are actually sewn!

- Jakub Ismer is in the next gallery he's a Polish photographer who has settled here nearby. most of his photos are seaside shots printed on brushed aluminum. it gives a really nice effect

-maybe i should try doing that with some of my photos.

- upstairs is open as well. i think it's new, i haven't been up there before
- i was up there years ago at a concert, Arve Tellefsen on violin with a local student of his

- oh, it's a hall with different small setups. more like a market
- well we're already here so we might as well have a look

- i like this one but there's a lot of reflection in the glass so i'll take the shot from an angle. too bad he didn't bother to use anti-reflective glass. most artists do

- that potter is busy knitting. today is the last day of the ten day exhibition and maybe it gets tiring exhibiting your own art day after day. i guess most of the artists are glad it's ending
well i've seen enough. let's go back
