entry smash 402: puppy on dirt parking lot

while i was waiting for my wife to finish her marketing i knew it would be a while so i wandered around the dirt parking lot to where some puppies were playing in the sun. they were clearly street dogs and to be honest i was not so interested in the puppies themselves but was hoping to get some nice shadow shots of them playing together. the parking area had litter strewn around but the mix of tire tracks made an interesting background with shadow patterns of their own.

but as i approached them two of the puppies quickly ran off into the shade of the building nearby leaving just one willing to be my model.

when it saw i was not going to offer anything to eat it but only take a few photos it turned

and ran off to join the others in the shade thereby ending the shoot
