I had a date

I don’t know about you guys but this year has been a lot. So many things happened and I’m going to share a few. In January, on the first; I broke up with my ex-boyfriend (the best decision of my life btw). Secondly, this is the funniest to me, my phone was stolen, on the 1st of April. I still can’t believe that happened. It still feels like a joke. I went to the market with my sister to buy some stuff and I came back home and I checked my bag for it and it wasn’t there. I just calmly accepted my fate and sat down but my mom and sister panicked on my behalf, it was so funny to watch.

Next, I lost my job. This was in June and I was still saving up for a new phone. The company I worked for didn’t pay me for two months before I was fired, how I survived those months is beyond me and I thank God for that. I finally got the phone a month after and life felt okay again. I’ve had several very needed breakdowns and my fair share of problems but hey what is life without these things? Who knows.

I think sometime during October I decided that I would do something for myself and just be alone, I said I would buy a bottle of wine with some snacks spread my blanket in the living room turn on my laptop and watch something while I got drunk slowly. It sounded blissful so I finally did it 🤭

I had so many fun guys I even drunk-texted a few people (I didn’t enjoy this part so much cause it backfired in the morning). I loved every moment of it! I spent quality time with myself. This year has been a mixture of so many things but like I said previously (I can’t remember what paragraph) what is life without these things? I would love to know 🙂. How’d you guys spend your Christmas?
