There were a lot of details to fill in on this sketchbook page. Honestly, adding the color took longer than originally anticipated. So it was great to go outside to finish because painting seemed much less monotonous once I got a side of fresh air and a large sunshine.
Using a non-watercolor brush made adding the color take waaayy longer than expected. It just didn't let go of the paint nicely - there was a lot of persuasion going on between the brush and I. Not cool. But on the flip side the colors played together nicely on this page, satisfying harmony of warm and cool.
Now that this is done, happily moving on to the next thing...Thanks for coloring with me! :^)
